My main 365 picture for today was a full color view from the window of a genuine combat veteran C-47 transport. It was the lead aircraft over Normandy on D-Day, dropping paratroopers behind Nazi lines several hours before the amphibious landings on the beaches.
I reformatted the picture to resemble the photographs taken during Operation Overlord that survive today.
