Splash!!!

I followed this brown pelican as it spotted some food swimming just below the surface and dove in on it. Here it's entering the water. The pelican came up empty and the lucky fish got away.

Unbelievable how the dive full speed head first in the water, Great timing to get part of the pelican. I often got only a splash.
