Flotsam, Gulls and Snow by timerskine

Flotsam, Gulls and Snow

We had 6 inches / 15 cm of snow overnight. The Missus and I went out to Sandbridge Beach to see what a heavy snowfall looked like on an ocean beach.

There was some drifting of snow on the beach and we had to walk through some areas that were over 6 inches / 15 cm deep to get a look at this. It's a rowboat that escaped its mooring and was battered heavily before washing up on shore. It might be able to float, but only if it is empty...there are gashes on both sides, clearly caused by it ramming top first into a piling, that extend down to the waterline.
It's a great coastal photo.
