Campanology

Our latest canal walk began in Alrewas (and ended in Kings Bromley), and we could hear the bells of All Saints Church. We do like to visit a church on our walks, but so many of them are closed, especially those in larger towns.

It was a really nice church, and felt very friendly. There is obviously a lot of talented crafts people in there as there were so many examples of handmade items, kneelers, pennants, cushions etc.

As we walked back towards the door we looked up and noticed that we could just see the person ringing the bells - can you?
Lovely capture of this beautiful old church. Is the person behind the window at the back of the image?

A beautiful display of craftsmanship. You might think about tagging this for the architecture-8 challenge - the theme is interiors.

A cute church interior. Yes I can see the bell ringer but only because it was mentioned.

Lovely choir seats. I also love to visit churches! Sad sign of the times I’m afraid.

A great pov for this shot, Lesley! We are being invited to walk right into this beautiful and intimate church. And thank you for the challenge to find the person ringing the bells. I cheated and read Diana's response :-) Fav
