Yesterday we went north to Lancashire to spend the weekend with my daughter and her family. We had planned to go to Manchester for the Christmas market but the weather was horrendous so we decided to stay in Adlington and go to their little Christmas Fayre instead. Sadly the weather almost put paid to that too. The shot above is of the site staff clinging on to the beer tent gazebo to stop it being carried off by the wind. We had one quick mulled wine and managed to get Noah in to meet Santa, then we caved in and ran to the local pub to get warm.
