Today was my daughter's high school graduation. The ceremony takes place outside and the weather gods were on our side, it was a bright sunny day filled with joy, hugs, and tearful goodbyes. I even managed to get a picture of her and her brother together. Now it is on to the next step in her life, University, and we will be back here next year when her brother graduates.
Congratulations to you and your daughter, your collage is a lovely momento of the day. It's 10 years since I left high school this year ( I don't know where those years went!) in the UK we don't have a graduation, which I think is a bit sad as it's such a nice way to end your high school days.
@annalarkham They can go a little graduation crazy in the US. Officially this is my daughter's third graduation, but to me the only one that counts so far. Her first was when she was 5 and finished Kindergarten (crazy), the second when she finished 8th grade, and now for High School. It was a great day though I am still suffering a little as rather foolishly I forgot sunscreen and it was all outside on a sunny day with a high of 84 degrees.
For the collage I use an ap on my tablet called Pixlr Express. I downloaded it ages ago, I don't use it much but keep it for the collages as it is easy, and i am too lazy to figure out how to do it on my computer.
@ukandie1 wow, love the enthusiasm there for the graduations! I feel your pain with the sunburn, I did the same thing last year on holiday. The next week was a nightmare. Hope it goes down soon!
