A quick walk to my local park and I found a water fountain jammed on. I found took a similar photo in July http://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2014-07-13 so I tried something different with this. Not sure it really worked as I still prefer the other shot.
Now I have uploaded it I have noticed some imperfections in my processing, I was a little rushed, but it is all a learning process.
Way cool! :) Two things: the second paren in your description is "live" so your link to the previous photo is currently a bit funky. (It works if the paren is deleted in the URL.)
Now about the photo! :) I really the solid stream of water with no (visible) background. The simplicity is striking. I knew it was yours before I saw your name! ;)
@jess1204 Thanks Jessica! I use a Sigma 17-50mm zoom lens 90% of the time (including this shot). I bought it last year as an upgrade to my kit lens. I sometimes wish I had gone with greater zoom range, but overall I am really happy with it. To be honest the only time I use something else is when I don't want my camera to be so bulky (as it is quite heavy), then I use a 50mm prime.
