This is the second time I have photographed this installation, the last time was in July http://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2014-07-28 when everywhere was very green. I thought I would shoot it again in January and once more in April, once for each season.
It took a lot of patience to get this shot as it is has become a major destination for wedding, engagement, family, and any other kind of photos you can think of. At one point there were four wedding parties and their photographers jostling to use the space. Eventually my patience paid off. Somehow I doubt I will have the same trouble in the middle of January.
@voiceprintz I look forward to seeing them, I did not know it was going on until I saw a poster for it today. Typical me a day late and a dollar short...lol. I am in the loop tomorrow, and hoping to check out at least one or two places.
I lost count of how many stops I made. It was great fun and an, now, annual event. Only the third year, so there are still hiccups in how things unfold. All-in-all, a great day. I'm really tired! :)
