Love this Andie. It takes me back to some research I did on using picture books when I was a teacher. I used a book called Zoo. One group read the book text and pictures together, another text first through all the book then back to pictures and finally a group who read all the pictures before reading the text. The family in the story had a rather obnoxious dad. One of the pictures was of the mum looking into a cage. It was painted from the POV inside the cage. After reading the book one of the boys turned to me and said - I reckon Miss that that mum was as trapped as the animals!
