It is easy to walk past this building and not give it a second thought, but last year during Chicago's Open House weekend I discovered that inside there is a thriving artist's colony within its walls, as well as many architectural details of interest to a photographer. Though I have not been back inside since last year, I have discovered that most of the building is open to the public year round and I plan to revisit it in the next month or so and share what I find.
