I thought I would join in the 52-week Dogwood challenge. This is supposed to be a faceless portrait that shows a story, well this is definitely faceless and it told a story to me, but that might be because I know where it was taken.
Oh Wow! Andie, This is fantastic.... the composition, the light, range of tones, texture... the whole feel of it! Amazing. You have shown us some great b/w shots but this is something elset. Print it, frame it, hang it on the wall.. Fav x 10,000
@tosee Thanks Tom. I have had it a week, and only had one day to really use it out and about so am still getting used to it, and am loving it so far. Great to have something so small and discrete without giving up quality.
@tosee Oops hit enter before I answered your question. This was converted to b&w in LR. So far I have been shooting in raw and jpeg with classic chrome.
Love this shot... way to make such an impactful, telling photo (although we have to use our imaginations as we don't know where it was taken!) with just a pair of feet... great composition and detail and lighting - just wonderful.
@stevecameras Yes,finally a new camera, though to be honest I thought I would have an XT1 in my hands right now, but with rumor of the xt2 comning mid year I decided to hold off, but not enough to buy the x70, so rar I am loving it
great PoV and portrait
And I notice you have a new camera...??
