Champions!

Two weeks ago Ireland's rugby team made history by beating the All Blacks for the first time ever, I was witness to that, and this shot is from then. Today they could not pull off the same result, but gave a valiant effort!

I have been in a photog rut of late, we are in the process of moving from the house we have been in for 18 years, where are kids grew up and am trying to be ruthless and get rid of what is not needed. At the moment we are still in the limbo period, hoping and waiting for everything to go through. If all goes to plan we will be moving the week before Christmas, I am a glutton for punishment :)
Moving is stressful, but it will work out, I liked your shots from the match 2 weeks ago. Last night's game was a battle, a lot of broken bodies, the best team won..

Great shot of a great match Andie. Good luck with your house move. Being ruthless is hard and after 18 years there must be so many memories.

@jack4john it was not on TV here, and I could not find a stable feed to watch it online so I ended up listening to the Irish radio coverage, it sounded like another cracking game, but with one questionable try by the All Blacks!

@pamknowler this shot was from the game in Chicago two weeks ago. Tim and I had tickets, great experience, and great to see a proper test match here in the US. They say that rugby is the fastest growing sport in the US.

@thistle Thank you Joyce! And yes lots of memories, it is both hard and fun to go through everything, I am finding things I had forgotten we had.

I think this is really good. Not easy to capture a sporting moment and the excitement of a crowd. FAV.
Good luck with the move.

About the only thing I can relate this event to was when the USA Olympic hockey team upset the Russian team in 1980 called the "Miracle on Ice". Good for the Irish team!
