I spotted this guy smoking a vapor cigarette from a distance and thought he made an interesting subject, got him all sized up for comp when the woman in the back of the shot looked towards where I was, so took the shot seconds before the bellowing smoke would have made the image more interesting. I miss so many shots because of chickening out, or just not having my camera ready, something to keep working on.
I have the same trouble, street photography is hard. I have to work up the courage to ask permission before I take a photo. You still captured an intriguing shot.
You've got some nice leading lines framing the main figure and I do like his posture/position. It is too bad the woman 'caught' you and is looking into the frame. I wonder if she'd be less noticeable in b&w?
