Finally we had some measurable snow for the winter of 2017! This winter has been ridiculously mild. But I digress, to non cold weather 365'ers you are probably saying well there is hardly any snow in this shot, that is because we are very good at clearing snow...that and lots of salt and temps hovering around freezing make for melting snow and slushy puddles!
I often lean on my x70 for street shots (i love this little camera), I am familiar with it and the wide focal length! For those of you who have followed me for a while you know I had my eyes on the Fuji Xt2 for a while, got it and loved some of what I got from it, but have struggled with it when it came to street shots. It was snowing today so wanted to head out with my kit that was safe to get wet. I have to say I don't think I could have got this shot with my x70! Loving the xt2 and 35mm F2 lens, it is 50mm FF so a bit tight but love the sharpness and quikness of it.
Spoken like a true Chicagolander! :) So fun, to catch him jumping over the snow, sockless, for heaven's sake. The clarity of your xt2 shot is terrific.
@rosiekerr this was cropped too! Bit of a learning curve getting used to my 35mm (50mm full frame)lens, but when I get it right blown away by its sharpness and quickness!
Good catch! Maybe its the 50mm-equivalent lens rather than the camera that's the problem Andie, Thos early street photographers using an SLR went for something wider... 35mm = is best I think and as you have found.
