Finn has fully settled into being part of our household. We are learning new things together all the time. He has stopped barking at people when we are out for a walk, and now wags his tail and pleads with them to come and pay him some attention. He nails sit most of the time without a treat, and down about 50% of the time when there is no treat present. This week he learned to give us his paw. We have also been working on him giving us the ball to throw, rather than us playing chase. I have been using two balls and won't throw one until he has dropped the other, it took him a day or two to get the idea, but he has got it now.
The first week we had him he ran and hid when I vacuumed the floor, today I had to shut him in the kitchen as he wanted to kill the hoover. I think he was trying to protect me from the evilness of having to do housework :)

Delightful! Good for you, to help him have manners and know what is expected. One thing I loved about visiting the UK was to observe that the pets and their owners were very nicely in tune with each other and well mannered. It helps the pets share in their owners' lives. Such a happy pup!
Oh bless him! He is loving his new life and trying to please you for taking him in! You are doing a wonderful job Andie! A lovey addition to your family! Fav!
