So I am the little plane at the front, flying as fast as I possibly can sweat pouring off of me, heart beating a mile a minute and about to collapse in a heap. The jet at the back is Usain Bolt, jogging along, hardly breaking a sweat smiling and waving at everyone!
I think these three plains are a P-51 Mustang, A-10 Thunderbolt, and F-22 Raptor, it was fun to see them flying together and a marvel that the F-22 could be both as fast as it was and as slow as it was!
I'd love to see them together in person. I used to be a pilot. 200 knots is above all of their landing approach speeds and about half of the Mustang and A-10's top speeds. So, flying together is about the skill of formation flying, not the problem of finding a common speed.
Oh, you're killin' me with these fantastic aircraft photos! Absolutely love this. (I have pilots in my family, and while I cannot get airborne like them, I can certainly swoon over exciting aircaraft.)
