The thing that stood out to me with this young lady was her silent but strong stance. As others around her chanted she stayed strong, silent and resolute!

A very strong statement -- how well you've captured her spirit! I wonder, though, if the angled darkness is a bit much of a contrast . . . perhaps a little softness between the strong darkness and the light? I do like how it emphasizes her stance, so perhaps only a little bit more of transition?
