Ta da! by wakelys

Ta da!

Have you guessed it yet?
This lovely clock is circa 1800.
My father in law restored old clocks and gave one each to his 5 children.
When we had a cat he didn’t like the chime on the hour so I muffled the bell so now we hear a dull thud.
The furniture in my home is very contemporary but I love the piece and it is vey much the heart of our home.
Thank you all for following and commenting.

What a beautiful grandfather clock! Very much a treasure and now it has a series. I'd print it, frame it and hang it next to it. =)

Fantastic series. This is a beautiful clock! My dad was a "old fashion" clock maker. We had many clocks hanging on our hallway chiming off beat lol... I have a very similar one on my home and love it. Nobody likes the chime either so I did the same and silenced it.
