Borage

I set seeds from last years borage and only one plant has grown I have been waiting to capture it out in flower these last few days

It's a beautiful borage flower. Ray told me the borage field had been replanted this year and was in bloom. Sadly when I managed to get there it was all brown and ploughed in!

@quietpurplehaze That is a shame Hazel it would have be spectacular to photograph I am sure. Apparently Borage oil is one of the best healthy oils.

@nataliemac Yes Natalie the leaves taste like cucumbers and have many uses one is tea and the seeds produce a healthy oil the flowers have many uses and sometimes as a garnish in alcohol drinks.Thankyou for looking much appeciated
