One of my roses from a few weeks ago left to die in the vase but still looks beautiful .
I think hubby has improved slightly over the last few days it must be all those pretty carers coming in to see him and all my tender loving care.
@quietpurplehaze Thankyou for your comments. Not much change in hubby perhaps a little more alert but not eating well and still in bed with carers 4 times a day to wash him etc.I am exhausted with all the washing trying to feed him being woken up throughout the night and general housework whilst in agony with my knee and have had to start using my pusher in the house to get around and help carry things. Son and daughter doing a lot to help and I have been lucky to get Sainsbury slots regularly.New tumble dryer coming tomorrow so that should help instead of going to the clothes line. Been taken off my pain relief as it has affected my eyesight and except for a 3 week course of steroids I have had nothing else. I have a telephone appointment booked with the Rheumatoid consultant later in May.
. Been having a few melt downs this week I think I cant cope any more then I start afresh again and get on with it. Hope you are both well. Take care.
Wendy I am so sorry that you are having such a tough time and I hope that the telephone appointment with the rheumatoid consultant will bring forth something really helpful. It's good you have help from the family and can get the supermarket delivery slots and will have the new tumble dryer. Sensible to use the pusher in the house although not nice to have to do it. Melt downs is not good so I hope things may get a bit easier. We are OK, thanks for asking although I have given up my pain meds because of side effects and rely more on hot wheatbags (bliss at bedtime!), TENS machine, exercise and meditation. Take good care.
@wendyfrost Thinking of you and your hubby today. Such a tough time for you both at the moment. Sincerely hope your hubby begins to improve soon. It's an old adage, but take it one day at a time. You can do one day. Meltdowns now and then are completely normal, be easy on yourself. When one day looks too much, tell yourself you can manage the next five minutes. And then the next. Praying for you as I type. Much love, dear one. xxx
@casablanca Thankyou so much for your kind message things do seem a little brighter as the week has progressed and getting more sleep is helping a lot I was so overwhelmed at first but we are now establishing a routine and the door bell and the phone have stopped ringing so much at last. Hopefully we will soon start to see some improvement in hubby and I am trying to practice your helpful advice thankyou. Hope you are all well take good care. xx
