I would be very pleased if anyone could ID this shrub the flowers appear before the leaves and it has these lovely clusters of pink flowers.
I have had it quite a few years and after the first flush of blossom it flowers sporadically throughout the summer. I seem to remember the variety was called Silk Road.
What a gorgeous shot, Wendy! I love the colours and the light on the pink petals and the branch stem. Lovely dof, too! I mentioned with your other posting, that my plant ID app says this is "True Indigo," but I really don't know if that's likely. Anyhow, big fav for this stunning capture!
Could it be Coronilla varia ( Crown Vetch) -- just had a quick look on line - and came up with this !!
