I'm starting my May with a photo of Honey I took a couple days after she came home from the hospital last week. She looked so happy to be home even though she felt so lousy. Here's hoping May is better to her than April was.
An update from May 2: The vet called. The advanced blood work test came in and Honey has a bacterial infection called Mycoplasmosis. It causes inflammation of the joints (known as polyarthritis), difficulty moving, fever, and general signs of discomfort. The symptoms remind me of the flu. Very hard to get rid of so please cross your fingers this big gun antibiotic she's taking kicks the shit out of it! 🤞🏻
