Celebrating Harry and Meghan's wedding with friends! Got up at 4:00 a.m. to make it to Dianne's to start the festivities by 5:00. I made heart-shaped waffles served with fresh berries and Canadian maple syrup in honor of the Queen. Dianne made a heart-shaped quiche with veggies and turkey sausage. To accompany the waffles and quiche we had scones, crumpets, clotted cream, a fruit tart, petits fours, two kinds of tea, coffee, and lemonade with St. Germain Elderflower liqueur. It was a special day to remember complete with our sittin' clothes and tiaras. To quote my friend, Marie, “What a beautiful, strong, independent bride and what a forward-thinking groom. Diana lives thru her children.”
