@lhart Thank you Lynn, have been trying to find out what it is, have googled Rose of Sharon which I thought the leaves too more firm and shiny - but then found several of Rose of Sharon (escaped to the wild with berries and these seem to fit) thanks again for solving the puzzle.
@lhart - went to through The Dingle today on my way to a Doctors appt, and unfortunately found that we have not solved the puzzle. Rose of Sharon was along side this wild-plant and unfortunately the way the buds cluster appeared quite different. Will keep a close eye on the two. Thanks again for your help.
