I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul

Photo provided for the WWYD challenge + photo I took during the Pride Parade + Lunapic editing tool. Thank you, Stranger, for posing for me!

August theme: line from the song, Invictus, based on the eponymous poem by William Ernest Henley. During his imprisonment, Nelson Mandela found solace in the words of that poem. He read it to fellow prisoners and had it written on a scrap of paper hidden in his cell.

Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

I like what you did here. Now it has me wondering what Raygun would look like with this background. Nicely done.
