Epilogue: Time to Take My Leave ...

Final Journal Entry... This entire week, my adventures have been many and my encounters so very interesting and plentiful. It's with a happy heart I'll go to my new home up north in The Land of Chicago where the welcoming committee, headed by The Dragon and his little friends, will be waiting to greet me! I've packed a trunk with my toys and some assorted scarves and I have a little valise to place in overhead. For their protection, I'll carry my journal and my own little camera, given to me by my photographer. It just makes me smile and feel fuzzy all over to know the joy I will bring to the dragon when I give him a year's supply of shortbread cookies! (How's THAT for appreciation?! My photographer's friend, who's name sounds like a sun-splashed meadow, suggested it was the perfect treat for a Dragon!) But here's the dearest little gesture of all... My new friend, who turned out NOT to be a dragon at all, but a kindred spirit called "Frosty" had a little gift for me to take to The Dragon. He apologized that it was "just peanuts", but it seemed a very thoughtful gift indeed.

I'll be on my way momentarily...

I look forward to learning the familiar name of "The Dragon"...
