@jackies365 Thank you so much! I think i even hesitated a bit pressing the shutter, she was so striking - I had the shot in the viewfinder waiting for a good moment to click. It's one of those "spur of the moments" shot that I like especially because I know they cannot be re-enacted later.
This is mine, I almost gave up on it because I was having a total headache all week trying to edit out some dust on the string but I got there in the end!
Greetings! I'm a total newbie here. On March 27th I embarked on a 365 photo project and uploaded my 1st image to this site today. Am still learning how to navigate, but thought I'd try to learn how to participate by sharing. Yesterday, was a free museum entrance day in Rome, Italy. This is the painted ceiling of a huge reception room in Museum Barberini.
This is my favorite because I have been working so hard on consistent focus. This image has good focus on a not so easy subject. I also like it because of the warm fuzzies it gives me.
This is my favorite because this bird has become like a member of the family over the past 5 years, and it is the best picture I have taken of him/her.
