Yet again, a massive thank you to everyone who took part in our Feature-4-Feb challenge and to all of you who suggested words to Mull-Over-March. In total we had 822 words nominated and this is how I have compiled our list:
- Firstly I added the words that were nominated for specific dates (for example 17th Green or Irish (for St. Patricks day) and the 8th Woman (for International Women's Day).
- I then put some similar words together like ‘Buds/Leaves/Flowers’ and ‘Monochrome/B&W’.
- I then counted up the number of times that the words were nominated and attaching those to the matching date (for example “Bunnies” was nominated 16 times so is on the 16th)
- Where there were two or more with the same count, I added these randomly throughout the month.
- Some words that I have not included as they have been used in recent months
- A few of us agreed that the following words should be bonus words each month; Birthday and Anniversary along with the Star Signs and Birth Stones.
Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 37 words in any order you like, if you wish to.
* Tag your photos with mar2013 to see them all here.

Wow - thanks for all the hard work you put into compiling the list, I for one really appreciate it and it most definitely adds a challenge to my 365 project.
Thank you lot for taking part - 2,833 photos on Feb so far, yes, over 100 pages!
Thank you all for adding word to the list for March, these are the most popular words, chosen by you.
You may have noticed that I have now gone though and added links to some of the days, for more information (the (Dr. Seuss on is brilliant).
Wow! Great list (I think!). Thanks, Bulldog! Some of those are going to be really challenging :) Really like your comments (in brackets) - that's what get's my mind working :)
Thanks for the new list. At least I know I've got March 1 covered. The daffodils down the street are blooming. Yea! Good collection of words. You did a good job compiling the list.
I've been on 365 for a year and 4 months, I guess it is about time I did one of these whole month things. Thanks for all your work on this, looks like fun and since I'm a Pisces and my husband was named after St David by his Welsh mum I had to give this a try..
Already doing a March challenge, but will blend, bend and add yours in when I can or want to! Thanks for dedicating so much time to this- I know a lot of folks really appreciate it. And so do I.
@mariael you tag them mar2013 for them to join everyone else's and anyone who looks up that tag will see them. To post in this thread go to the copy and paste code on the bottom right in the info about your photo and come back and paste it in the comment box on this thread. Hope that makes sense!
Cool list! I enjoyed the challenge in February, but I think I will pass on this one. I am starting a 3 months job in Geneva next week, and I will use my project as a diary I think. Or maybe I will pinch a word from the list once in a while!
Just a question: Isn't it strange to have Autumn / spring on the 15th? It is really on the 20th isn't it? @gphelps5
Thank you Bulldog, great job - and thank you for honouring International Women's Day. We are holding an event with some high profile female speakers. Fingers crossed it all goes well!
Thanks once again for putting this list together, not a job for the meek and mild! I'm doing some travelling in March so not sure how closely I can follow the list.
@gphelps5 Really looking forward to what people do with this word!
I was definately planning on doing something with dr Seuss today. Unfortunately my cat ran off when I told her she was going to wear a hat today ...
The list is now open for your suggestions for next months Label-4-April challenge, please feel free to have a read through and re-suggest any you like, or add new words to the list.
The April lit will be made up from the words that are chosen the most.
@bulldog Thanks so much for doing this each month Bulldog, it certainly got me thru March and I'm looking forward to April, the words will be tons of fun. Thanks.
Being away for a week, I completely missed the discussion of the words. Looks like a fun list.
