It is time for the first TAG CHALLENGE of 2014.This is such a fun challenge and a wonderful learning experience.I would encourage everyone who is reading this to participate! If you are new here,please jump right in!
Here is how it works:
*Go to the "Browse" section and then select the "By Tag" link. Close your eyes and randomly click on a tag.
* Do it again (and no peeking)! These two tags are now your photo assignment. You will then use your two randomly chosen tags as an inspiration to create one picture that encompasses both tags.
Please CLEARLY state your two tags when you post your entries, as this will let me know what your assignment was. You may submit more than one entry.( using the same two tags).
For this challenge, if you chose a set of words that you feel it would be impossible to do anything with, rather than skip the challenge all together, you may opt for the host’s tag words of 'LANDSCAPE"and 'TREES" (selected randomly as above).
Start of challenge: Wednesday January,1 2014
End of challenge: Thursday, January 9 , 2014 ( midnight EST)
Voting starts: Friday, January 10, 2014
NOTE - Photos must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered for a vote.
The number of finalists will be chosen depending on number of entries. The winner will get the opportunity to host challenge #90
Please remember to tag all entries as TAG-CHALLENGE-89 so that I can find them.

@jborrases dark and orange is a challenging tag set!I can't wait to see what creative spark strikes! Oh and "dark"could be interpreted in any way that you perceive!

@andrina haha!Oh my goodness Andrina..that cracked me up.It is fun to be challenged in this way.I have had some crazy ones and my images were craptastic but such a great learning experience.But I know you can do something great with that pink horse!! If not go with Landcape and Trees! :)
@maryellenb those are lovely tags! Think outside the box!And remember that it is your interpretation.I had plant and sculpture for the last challenge and I photographed a vine that had sculptural properties.have fun!
@froggie0628 yes I am already wracking my brains!! I have a friend with horses, do you think they will let me spray paint one pink????????? Can we use editing in this challenge?
@mzzhope I wonder if the zoo has anything?? But at this point, just getting out of the neighborhood will be tricky given the roads. I guess I have to hope a spider or something that has been dormant in the house shows up! Or...check through my 'toys' to see what might pass as an insect (alien or not)!
I've tried the 365 project before but it seems I always fall off the bandwagon before I even make it a month! Hoping this is my year to complete it! My tags are sepia and shoes. :) Gonna try this, sounds like a great way to spark creativity!
I'm new to 365, and I thought this sounded a great way to become involved with the community. My tags of 'Reflection' and 'Mountain' might be a tad challenging, but I will prevail!
Ok Hope, starting with your challenge this year. My tags are reflections and friends. Both with an 's'... hmmm. Tough start but I'll think of something.
Child and green. Bit concerned about taking pictures of children... they would have to be random ones, which might be a bit unethical? Will have to have a think!
I'm a newbie and this sounds fun. My two words are "leaves" and "rainbow". I thought this would be incredibly hard, but all I did was look around and it presented itself. :) Thanks!
I am between semesters and only have to rewrite my syllabi for the spring semester so I am back in the game (for a few weeks). My tags are 50mm and reflection... geez, let's see what comes of this!

@mrsnlc you could ask permission or photograph them from the back without faces or looking down.There something endearing about that in photographs. Or you could think outside the box re: the word "children."....you got this!
@mzzhope We were stationed in Germany for 4 years in the early 1990s, so we traveled all over Europe. Much to our surprise, Paris was one of our favorite places to visit.
@mzzhope It is a Galileo thermometer. It was a Christmas present. It is pretty cool when the temperatures change. The balls have temp tags on them and the temp is determined by the position of the lowest (or highest) ball.
@stevied don't panic,Steve! I think of these challenges as the homework from photography school.lol.play and have fun!glass and light will be SO much fun to play with!
You have got to be kidding! "iphone" and "winter"......... it's the middle of a sweaty Queensland summer and neither I or any of my family have an iphone. I'm not nearly creative enough for this one!
Oh wonderful. I got "garden" & "animal" - with 8" of snow today and another 8" due Saturday with the coldest weather in 6 years (-45f - -43C) due soon. I better find an indoor garden with some mice ... and do it tomorrow!!!
@mzzhope - I have plenty of dogs .... I'm thinking about throwing a head of lettuce on top of the snowcovered garden and waiting for the rabbits to come..... it won't take long ...
Wow, so many newbies! I procrastinated a couple of months before I jumped in, but I started in late July. I'm going to have to get creative, I've got flower and landscape. Not too many flowers sticking up above the snow right now!
My first day, I got puppy and Halloween. I'll try to get something, but probably also go with landscape and trees. Too bad I shot a bunch of those on the 25th!!!! So, don't count.
I have returned to 365 after a brief hiatus from September - December of 2013. I found this and decided to give it a shot.. mine are "shadows" and "dark" !

My first challenge! I think I need to try again, Madame wasn't feeling very cooperative and its surprisingly hard to photograph a black and white cat and get the balance right. Anyway tags: b&w and cat!
Amazingly I got family and green, I had just earlier given my son a facial and a green face pack. Uncanniy as I took a pic of him. Now to see where to post it!

I got 'boat' and 'food' - that WILL be a challenge! Unless I can find a fishing boat and a load of fish...heehee! I live in a fishing town, so I'll see what I can manage tomorrow. :-)
Luckily enough we went out sunset hunting last night and found this nice spot. My tags were Reflections and Water.

Ha ha ha. I got music photo and canon. As a music teacher I am pretty excited about that. Just have to open a book of music by Bach and I'm done :D I was reluctant because I am very new I thought it would be difficulty. Now I just gave to take a half decent photo... That's the hard part.
I did not know that I could only do one challenge. I have already signed up and started the same subject for one week challenge, so I cannot join this one. Sorry for any inconvenience. Which sucks because I have also started taking pictures for this challenge. Sorry again.
Music and Canon. included the Cd with Pachabel's Canon whilst sitting on a Bach Fugue. All shot with a canon. Lucky I had easy words. I am amazed at the creativity and skill of so many of you guys. Thanks for the inspiration.
