Firstly thank you for those who voted for my image and thank you to Kali for choosing that topic. It is not something that I would normally try!
Below I have chosen five finalists. Can you please vote for your favourite.
1. This is an image by Jim R @jnr who was asked by Mary to do a black and white landscape. I think this is a lovely image and a lovely composition. It is interesting as a black and white image I would normally think would have a greater tonal rate, however, the softer tones on this one and the mist gives it an ethereal look.
2. @northy was challenged by Kathy @randystreat to show her favourite time of day. What a great choice of image for the topic. - Nap time.
3. @aecasey April was challenged by Jackie R to do a still life this week and, if possible, in the classical "vanitas" style. I think this is a great interpretation for the challenge, with the lighted candle, the skull and the dead roses.
4. Kali @kali66 was challenged by @francoise to do a triple exposure. This is a lovely composition - I especially like the bokeh.
5. Mary Siegel @mcsiegle was challenged by Jim @jnr do photograph a bird in flight. I have to agree with you Mary - you didn't quite nail the challenge, but this image was great and the bird half out of the image made me chuckle.
