Our home faces east, so the glorious rising sun reaches toward the big window and shines its happy right in! The chandelier, dangling its own happy high above the entry below, kisses that morning sun and makes him feel welcome. This gift delights us when we enter the upstairs hallway. Without electricity, the chandelier glows!
I like viewing this image best on the black background.
@nydelignorsk You are so kind...thank you for commenting and for the fav! The chandelier (this is just a small section of it) is actually a gaslight reproduction, so you are right in thinking of the early 1900s!
Love the way you captured this - what a lovely chandelier - seems quite fitting for you - and so glad you're one who would enjoy watching the sunlight play with it. Shows so well against the black.
Isn't that something — these are 'on' because of solar power! I would never have guessed that. You've captured the light beautifully. (How's the A. tendon healing?)
@lyndemc Thank you for your comment and for checking on my injury! I have two more weeks of limited activity while wearing this boot; so hopefully, that'll do the trick and it will be much improved before my next visit with the doctor. I'm trying very hard to be a good patient and stay off of it, and that's why most of my photos lately have been indoors. Thanks again for asking. :-)
@janetb Two more weeks sounds like a terribly long time, especially during this pleasant time of year. You're a good gal though, staying off that foot — you'll be glad you did once the healing is all done. You're doing amazing with the pictures even tho you're confined indoors.
@lyndemc You are very kind, Denise...thank you. I am very much missing my normal Fall activities; however, I am blessed with lots of windows looking out on colorful woodlands and a wonderful husband who enjoys taking weekend rides up into the nearby mountains to see the leaves change. Knitting, reading, and 365 are also wonderful blessings. Thank you again for your kindness, which is very much appreciated. :-)
