I have been pondering the issue of how to get 365 different photos for this project and have decided that I need to start looking at little things and different view points. So when I went to buy Nigel new work shirts from the posh gentleman's outfitter this morning (60% off in the sale!) I nipped over the road to Corpus Christi for a quick snap of it's lovely Victorian letter box. To take the 'VR' I had to face away from the college and I tried this scene with people and cyclists in it - but I like the fact that essentially this scene could have been recorded like this at any time in the last 150 years. My beloved bike is the one with the basket....
Thanks very much for recent commenting - it makes ALL the difference - I feel I'm behind today but will try hard to catch up.
I don't know why you are worrying Judith ALL your pictures are so interesting & well composed ..you will easily find something to photograph & I do think simple is best sometimes ! This just such an example ..the composition & colours just perfect !
This is such a wonderful shot Judith, I love looking at your albums. You make your city look wonderful and makes me want to visit. You show sides which normally not seen and I love that.
Again a beautiful composition! Somehow I cannot imagine you'd be short of things to shoot, you're doing so splendidly. But looking at "normal" things from a different perspective sounds like a wonderful idea, I'm looking forward to more shots in this manner! I can't believe I'm flying out tomorrow... I try not to think about it too much as it makes me really sad. At the same time I'm happy to go and I just comfort myself by saying I'll be back and I definitely will!
