What a difference a day makes -

24 little hours brought the sun and the flowers where there used to be rain. Well that just about sums up the day. And a good thing to because it's my wedding anniversary today and it's nice to have the sun shining. Had lunch with Nigel and bought a new computer so I'm going to be out of action for a little while until I've had a good photo clear out and transferred things over. But then I should be super fast at commenting :0) This little robin was on the path down to All Souls Burial Ground - I just cropped in a bit - I didn't even open Picnik so that I wasn't tempted to tamper with that beautiful sky!
Rebecca says thanks to all the lovely people who have ordered her book!!
PS Thanks for all of the Favs on yesterday's pics - truly marvellous and hello to all of the new Followers and sorry if I haven't visited yet - I will do I promise!!
Great composition and detail in this shot. Love it Judith.

Ha you start a wet feet challenge and the sun comes out. Not for long here though. Lovely pic like the still robin against the blurry branches. Photo clear out? That might take some time.

First Happy Wedding Anniversary to you & Nigel ! A treat to have lunch out too & a new computer , I think it is your lucky day !! I am going to ask Jack whether there is any thing such as one of those Tablet, Notebook or Macbook that I could take on my holidays to see 365 ..pathetic isn't it !!! I love it so much & don't want to get behind if possible !! This is a very pretty picture & Robins are very special bit I think the colours are so co-ordinated in this photo & all seem to enhance each other ! Wonderful shot Judith.

What a lovely picture - I would have taken a robin today but my hubby was rushing me out and so I didn't have time to take my camera out even though it was in my hand. A little robin was sitting on the logs which were waiting to be chopped up a bit smaller and he was lovely so I was disappointed that he wanted to drive straight off to go to the bank. Never mind, with a bit of luck he'll reappear tomorrow!

@peggysirk Yes sounds romantic but in reality it was drizzling all day - a spring/summer wedding would have been much more sensible!
January 6th, 2012
gorgeous and happy anniver!

Happy Anniversary!! You robins are so much more dainty than our American ones. Here they are a sign of spring...but occasionally they will flock and winter over, and it's so exciting to see them mid-winter - gets the hopes up!

A beautiful day for your wedding anniversary hope you have many more. Would you believe your title was what I was going to use for the my pic. for today , but I deleted my photographs by mistake. I had to put one on from the day before. I love your picture of the Robin, I never seem to manage to get a good picture of birds.
