It was a truly beautiful morning this morning with a sunrise that started an intense red and faded out to a pink glow over the course of an hour but I was unavailable to take photos for the whole time!! When I came out of the supermarket it was still -3C according to my car so I diverted home the pretty route through Granchester and took a few photos. It looked quite different to the scene yesterday.
It's a bit of a drop and run as I'm back into Governors' Meetings tonight - and I've wasted half the day deleting e-mails (one account was reading 26000 unread messages!!) only to have the e-mails refill from somewhere as soon as I stop.... I'll catch up commenting ASAP - sorry!!
Nice composition and you've captured the frostiness really well. It was very frustrating driving towards Cambridge on the way into work this morning. The sky was an intense red, and had I been travelling on my own I would have taken one or two detours and stops to capture it!
Super frost on the ground picture & wonderful reflection too !! those two walking the dog make an interesting photo !! Sounds like your new computer has been a massive upheaval & I hope you are getting there in the end !!!
what a good job getting out. i have played in weather like that. and photographed in weather like that. much easier to be inside, but your photo made me want to be outside
@ellida I think I was in a loop between two accounts - I was beginning to wonder how it would all end but we've broken the loop just in time. ALl was well until it went for its very expensive 'set up' in the Apple Store!
