I took my mum to a quilt exhibition at Chilford Hall today. The quilts are very impressive but some of the ladies are quite scary - my mum says the fabric selling areas can be quite aggressive - you wouldn't want to get the queuing wrong! My photos from inside are all useless so I only really have this shot of the snowdrops in front of a nice old cart. Hope you're all having a good weekend - catch up tomorrow hopefully.
I much prefer this shot too as I've already seen the exhibition. I did wonder if you would post any pictures of the exhibits. I made a collage last time, but thought if I did that again it risks getting boring.
@busylady I wondered if you'd be there! It seemed a bit squashed this time but it's 16 yes since we last went so I could be misremembering. I did think at least Judith wouldn't tut at my camera!
I would imagine quilting ladies are very passionate about their work, they must be to have all that patience...I would rather watch paint dry but each to his own !!! Love this old cart & that massive wheel & great composition with the delicate snowdrops & rugged machinery.
I'm in love with your composition again. That old cart as a backdrop and the way individual flowers are sticking out at odd places really makes this photo unique. Fav for me!
