Went in search of bluebells but took a short cut and missed them by mistake. Still the oxlips are doing well... Thanks for the lovely response to yesterday's euphorbia. Apologies for two plant shots in a row - I'll try something new tomorrow.
A lovely woodland shot with the moss. Yes, I saw some cowslips today but didn't have my camera with me - perhaps tomorrow. No need to apologise - it's that time of year.
still pretty in the woods with oxslips and moss Are your bluebells out? When I looked at the weekend ours were just green leaves thinking about appearing. And the cowslips have been trampled on by horses.
Judith I don't think you need to apologise! A lovely delicate composition
set off by the logs in the background. Coincidentally, I saw cowslips (what's the difference I wonder) in a garden today and might go back tomorrow with Jinks and take a shot of them.
Love these oxlips & that mossy stone is very pretty ! We don't mind your plant pic as you are very god at them !! No mention of your shoulder, I hope you had a reasonable night !
We have these in our garden. Thought they were a different form of cowslips as the flowers are larger. Thanks for enlightening me and lovely shot btw xx
@judithg Thank you! We used to go out on a Sunday as children with our parents to collect cowslips for my grandmother to make wine - she made wine out of lots of different fruit and veg.
I just love spring wildflowers - especially in the Michigan woods where I live. I am currently in Colorado (western US) where it is dry and brown. I'm hoping I haven't missed all of Spring by the time I return home. Great shot with so much "Spring" detail - flowers, moss, woods - keep the flower shots coming!
