Polite notice

The gate to St Botolph's garden. I didn't go in because I was 'with dog' but it's very tempting and provides a secret bit of tranquility near a busy junction. A better view of the church and garden is in extras.
This is lovely framing too. The blur on the bench gives the feeling of resting there a while being stuff of dreams not reality!

Love the ''Englishness'' of this & a very sensible instruction !!! Looks a beautiful garden beyond & that bench a tranquil place to sit when without dog !!! This photo has that bit of difference about it that makes you look twice !

April 18th, 2012
cool find and lovely framing of the garden beyond
April 18th, 2012
@peterdegraaff Anything you can get a bike lock through is liable to get a bike attached!! The worst is when somebody accidentally locks their bike to yours and you have to wait till they come back & unlock it!
April 18th, 2012
@judithg that would be a bummer. Back in the day people used to put bike locks around necks and attach to bulldozers to stop logging. Never saw them connect to each other or church gates. Can understand your frustration.
