Huge thanks for the comments on yesterday's photo - it seems most of us have gone over to the dark side for at least some of the time. And a top tip about Calibre.com from Graham. The only real reservation I have is the potential demise of the book shop - you can't beat a browse amongst the real thing on a wet Sunday afternoon and I feel I should go and buy some paper books for the reason alone.
Bit of a typical shot for me here - Monty featuring once again. The other shot had me reflected leaning over at a ridiculous angle so I plumped for this one!
Are those Monty's legs there in the left hand window !! Lovely splash of red & the icon bike is perfectly positioned ! I still buy an odd paperback & will spend hours in a bookshop but perhaps don't buy as much as I should just note titles instead !!!
Nice shot, love the composition - and yes, there is nothing like browsing a bookstore! I still love to be surrounded by books. The ebooks have their place for certain things but I still choose a paper book 85% of the time.
I love the cropping you chose. Another postcard shot ;). Nice vibrant red, too. And it's always nice to see Monty. God, I miss Cambridge these days. Maybe even more so because my supervisor is coming over next Monday - I'm so excited, he's quite a genius.
@alexbell Thank you! I cropped afterwards - the bicycle was quite close to the road so I would have to have stood in the road which happens to be a right angled busy bend! I shot this from the other side of the road and hoped the focus would be good enough!
