Failed miserably with all my shots today - I thought I was taking pretty sun/leaf/cobweb combos but the exposure was all over the place. So this is another from yesterday- the window of Ryder and Amies University Outfitters on the corner of King's Parade. A truly magnificent spot for a shop and I hope it never moves out to be replaced by a chain store. They have noticeably shifted to accommodate the tourist trade but still supply college gowns/scarves/ties etc to students and they still have all of the university sports club notices displayed along the shop front (another photo required sometime). On this side of the shop you get a lovely reflection of the Senate House and Gonville and Cauis College on a sunny day.
Three good things:
1. A beautiful September morning with sun dappling the paths every where you look.
2. Walk and coffee with good friends I haven't seen in ages and Monty getting on like a house on fire with my friend's new young dog. She's part collie and he knows what he's doing with collies!
3. My Trinity Lane pic is on PP - huge thanks for the fab feedback that made me very happy - it's been promoted to 365 from Extras - I must move the 3 good things now...
A real shop window & a shop I feel I would enjoy. Great reflections add to the colour & give the whole thing a truly Cambridge stamp. I am off to watch a procession in Preston tomorrow, I might even use my bus pass for the first time!!!!!!
You should tag it for the SPN challenge. :)
Love the colours in this. The reflection is fab.
