OK so I couldn't resist another. This one took me two minutes compared with yesterday's two hours. All of the sample colours are in my doggy!
Photo taken today despite the date shown.
PS Sorry for lack of commenting tonight - day two of a two day headache - must be my age!
sorry to hear you are not too well judith...hope you are feeling better soon...always love a monty shot....I haven't downloaded the the template for the colour chart, but I will :)
Surely you have pills that relieve the headaches? I do - after 10 mins and it hasn't gone away, I'm into the pills! The blue black Colour is so striking!
@judithg Hydrate! Hydrate! 90% headaches are due to dehydration. Do hope you feel better. I've no idea what the pallette thing under the photo is all about, but I really love that range of colours. And your pooch. Aw.
Lovely shot of Monty. I tried for an hour to get the palette thing to work - got as far as the eyedropper and I must be doing something wrong. But I have Photoshop 5.5...am too cheap to upgrade because now I like PicMonkey better anyway.
I am loving the color cards...a really fabulous technique! There's nothing worse than a headache ~ hoping you wake up in the morning pain free. Take care, Judith.
@bpaquette That's where I got stuck. After you'd adjusted the photo to size did you group the laters? Then select the dropper tool. After that go to the layer bar and select the one with two boxes and a number 6. Double click on the left hand box and the colour gradient box should come up - then just click on the colour you want on your photo and the 6th box should fill with that colour. Move on to the one that says 5 and repeat. Should be really quick then hopefully!
Love the tones you have picked for Monty...I think he will be pleased to be a blue dog & not your run of the mill black! That is a seriously handsome face!!!!!!
I'd love to do one of these! So effective and a lovely shot of your dog too. I can empathise with the headache. Been suffering myself this weekend but I put that down to having an assignment to write. I hope yours leaves you soon xx
hope you feel better soon mrs
