She spied me spying on her. Had to crop in quite close because some totally inconsiderate people walked by - didn't they know I had 'a shot on'. I can't wok out the reflection - it would be better without but I don't know how much it bothers me - I had others without but she wasn't giving me those eyes. I missed the 'One night stand' challenge yesterday so I'm going with B&W and 'candid' in one shot. I don't think she's quite looking at you, more a look of contemplation. I think the reflection on the right of her hair looks like a dog's back, and he's wearing a jacket!!
I quite like the reflection as well, she looks unhappy though! I looked at the bicycle and was browsing down just looking at the shots and I went 'wait a min, this has to be Judith's' and it was !!! I know your work without seeing your name, how cool is that..
@ditto44 And about 20 I reckon!! Same sex romance all over the flipping place in Cambridge this afternoon. A bit of sunshine and there's flouncing around willy nilly.
@jgpittenger Yes I thought there was a sort of angel vibe - but she's looking stressed bless her. Can you see the fabulous laptop cover - in the other photos you could see it much better - I nearly stuck with colour for it.
a wonderful shot judith, love the monochrome and it is very 'reportage', almost retro 60's to with the textures and tones....your reflection is somebody in a woolly hat and gloves either taking a picture (spookie) or writing something on a wall or reading a timetable !!!
I just want to say that I keep thinking of this picture! My Get Pushed challenge is Street Photography, and I'm just hoping to catch something this authentic. so very well done.
Her expression is fab though. She looks so vulnerable.
