Not the most dramatic street art we saw in Birmingham but I thought it was witty. And funnily enough Adam is doing an art project looking at different types of vandalism - comparing official 'vandalism' (signs, CCTV cameras, satellite dishes) with unofficial 'vandalism' such as graffiti and I thought this was a brilliant piece of art for considering that very subject. I didn't actually notice the little people until I looked back at the photo.
Three good things:
1. A lovely walk out with friends - Monty was very lazy compared with the 'working' cocker spaniels who ran at full tilt back and forth for the entire walk.
2. Sitting outside a coffee shop with the sun on our faces.
3. The crocuses have appeared from nowhere on The Backs - beautiful in their own right and a sure sign that spring is really on its way.
This is good art and very clever thinking! Like your sun on the face bit as well as "working spaniels" - know exactly what they do with their noses down! Pleased to hear about the Backs!
Love the brickwork as well as the graffiti. I saw the little people but not that they were real Satellite dishes at first! Go Working Cockers - know the feeling. They have a Springer friend who starts off keen and then decides to do his own thing. In my mind Spring always starts on the 1st March.
That's a great find! At first I wasn't sure what I was looking at, and thinking you had photoshopped parts of it. I really like clever street art like this.
I find this an amazing piece of inventive art work Judith, such clever folk around to think up something like that...it must inspire Adam ! A very exciting career he is going to have!!! Just love the little legs hanging in there & your brick work is superb!
That's very good. Don't you wish youd thought of it. I've just escaped from two days in the board room staring out of the window at glorious blue skies. Now it's bed time! Or it feels like it....
3 cheers fro any sign of spring
