Another hockey tournament - county this time. More rain - a river running through the dugouts where all the kit bags are stored. But, on the up side, a clubhouse and hot bacon rolls for lunch. And an excuse to get Thai takeaway for tea.

@peterdegraaff I've been pondering it - I think it's because the counties only have one strip each so they all have to be different. One of the opposition teams was a really unpleasant shade of purple.....
What an evocative portrait, I would have thought he was feeling bleak or at least cold but I'll trust you on what hos mood really was. The grey sky and line of bare trees combined with the water on him is great.
nice candid shot judith, as for the comments about the orange jersey, i always think teams in orange look good (I've always admired Blackpool's kit) ...although adams orange isn't quite as bright as the Dutch or Seasiders
