Adam and I went to the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology on Thursday for a bit of research for Art A'level (him) and some photo ops (me). They have an exhibition on called 'Black Hair' at the moment with a few mock ups of barbers' shops and these dryers which you can sit under and listen to people describing the trials and tribulations of growing up with 'black hair' and a strict mother! There was nobody there so I tried engaging the supervisor in a conversation about Nigel's granddad's barber shop and how it was more about putting the world to rights than having your haircut but the response was zero so I took a photo instead.
Four GT:
1. Another day of cold ticked off - can't be too many more left can there?
2. rachel has survived a long, hot day on the punts yesterday's day off seems to have revived her.
3. Out for dinner tonight so no more cooking.
4. I've cleaned, washed and food shopped for the holiday so only digging out beach stuff and packing to do tomorrow.
The carpet is very much a part of the era. when we moved into Steve's Dad's house, there was a carpet rather similar to this one in the hall, stairs and landing. Needless to say, it's not there now! Nice shot
I agree. It somehow speaks to me!
Judith have a lovely time!
