I had to get up early to drop Adam at school for an away game and I took the camera but the light was struggling. However, I was at least up and dressed and fit to do something with the morning which is a major improvement on recent Saturdays. In the absence of doggy, I talked Rachel and Nigel into walking into town with me and we headed through St John's because we could and because it's lovely. I was bemoaning the fact that all the puddles were on the lawns because (a) you're not allowed on the lawns and (b) I would have had very wet feet if I'd decided to give it a go, when I spotted a couple on the path by the river. Third Court looks like it's leaning over backwards but just look at that blue sky! Just to the right of the big tree is the Bridge of Sighs and during the week one of Rachel's punting colleagues helped the college staff rescue a baby otter that had been washed down stream and was making a right racket as it struggled to hold on to the branches that dip in to the water.
Three GT:
1. I have been very busy - cleared out a load of old clothes, done a pile of ironing, made a roast dinner, baked some biscuits for Rachel to take back.....
2. Bondi Rescue - good watching when you're ironing.
3. I'm not on Bake Off - biscuits over-done!
Wow fantastic reflections , and just look at that lovely blue sky, if you have time to view my shot today you will see we have the opposite weather. btw this is a FAV
Spectacular scene on a splendid day! How do you get so much done in a day? I'd consider it a successful day if I did one or two of your list of things in TGT #1.
Fave for the sunshine & blue sky.......your reflections of these stunning building & the account of your day is all a good read...I love to hear what others have done with their day. A baby otter is a real treat in the middle of Cambridge!
So heartwarming to see sunshine .
