Pure and simple

Spent the day with a horrible headache grumpily cleaning ready for going away later this week and resenting anybody else who wasn't cleaning, grumpily or otherwise. I needn't bother really as my neighbour who is doing the cat and the hens for us doesn't have great eyesight and she always says our house looks clean even when it isn't...
Anyway - eventually took the solitary snowdrop in the planter and lay down in a darkened room.
