I walked round the garden pointing my macro lens a wet plants but there was too much movement (plants and me) and not enough light to get something really sharp. In an experiment to see if she'd let me get close I stuck the camera in poor old Rafiki's face (well she was responsible for quite a lot of elbow jogging) and was surprised that she let me - only one chance as she looked down and kept looking further down to thwart any further effort. She's sitting on our 'old' garden furniture which is reflected in her eye - the 'new' garden furniture having arrived at the start of six days of rain (or more - as far out as the forecast goes!)
Three GT:
1. We need a bit of rain :0/
2. An excellent walk with Rebecca.
3. Delivery from the butcher including a whole extra roast - I've tried to get it back to them but they said to keep it.
Wonderful close-up. I'll let you know when I'm next in town. I had a coffee in the Bellina Chocolate House on Bridge Street on Wednesday. Very quiet, only two tables and me! Trouble is I felt obliged to buy a chocolate - just the one, then a huge (reduced) Easter Egg for Imogen who I haven't seen over the Easter break.
Rafiki is a very patient girl.....she seems to be looking at you with no surprise, obviously well used to your little ways! Wonderful macro shot....love the eye lashes! Take the meat & run.....you deserve it for buying local!
Garden furniture in a cat's eye - that has to be a first, Judith! She has nice colour eyes. btw Jinks learnt nothing from being left behind and guess I will just have to continue with bribery and corruption aka 'reward-based training'.
I'd never get that close to a cat - highly unpredictable!! Great shot tho! Yep, we're all blaming you personally for the rain - I know who to blame for me not getting out for a run and staying in stuffing my face with biscuits and naughty stuff!
You have meat delivered???? And an extra roast??? Wow - give thanks, Judith! This eye is unbelievable - never seen a cats eye so close! I wonder if our eyes look the same! Shall I stick a camera in my face?
