I wouldn't normally post a photo as out of focus as this but I've been trying to catch the choir boys out and about for the entire duration of my project. I had just put my zoom lens on and was taking the golden eagle over the gate to St John's Chapel, contemplating the fact that I would actually post it - having taken its photo several times and then demoted it - when I was disturbed by youthful chatter. By the time I looked down to see the choir boys they were already upon me having taken an unusual route through the front gates of college to their practise rooms. Hence the quick click and hope. Reminded me of staring out in to the distance looking for geese when I was in Maryland only to realise that they were overhead.
Three GT:
1. Lovely lunch with both my old neighbours. We moved into our first houses at the same time next door to each other 25 years ago and had some great fun together before moving on as children arrived. I see one quite often but it was the first time for all three of us together for quite some years.
2. B&Q - bumped in to my neighbour's husband in the sandpaper aisle on Easter Saturday - hence the reunion.
3. Gardening - really enjoying it this year - weather related!
This is a great capture. And it's not too blurred, IMO. At least it didn't distract me from the expressions on the boys' faces. I really love how their red robes pop against the colors of the stone, grass, and brick.
Love it Judith so a big fave from me........you know I love this sort of candid shot......btw I think it's an Easter egg under that cassock!
What fun all young new marrieds together...you would have lots to,talk about!
That's the first time I have ever heard of B&Q being described as a good thing, and I am pretty sure it will be the last..
And a mystery... What is he hiding under his gown?
What fun all young new marrieds together...you would have lots to,talk about!
