Attention is turning to going up north tomorrow evening for my cousin's wedding on Friday. I have completed the glamorous task of hoovering out the car and while I was gripped with that I hoovered out the house. Rachel arrives home on Friday while we are away and I have strict instructions that the house is 'not a complete tip'. Well I can do my best but we will be leaving Adam unattended for 12 hours before she gets home so I can't promise anything!
Three GT:
1. Rebecca's book read out on cBeebies last night and a lovely response on their FB site (with one or two complaints that it was too loud to send the child to sleep - my response to that is that you shouldn't be letting the TV read your child to sleep anyway - watch it then cuddle up and read a book yourself afterwards!)
2. Constructive discussion with the electrician about shed lighting. I sometimes wonder how we ever survived all these years -every time he does a job the regulations have changed and we have to have extra fast circuit breakers and whatnot.
3. A necklace I bought for a previous outfit because I liked it (but then it didn't go) works very nicely with the new dress. All real jewels of course ;0)
This is THE dress......wow it looks very elegant .& you can't go wrong with spots & navy......a classic posh dress! The jewels are perfect, they have a slight vintage look. & of course pearls are the tops!
Have a fabulous time....if you are well ahead of time going or coming you could always call on me!! Weddings are bliss & I MIT be coming down your way one day next year...the Norfolk nephew has just got engaged.
very cool....I like the repeating circle patterns in this shot....and laughed about the TV putting your child to sleep....so crazy what passes as parenting sometimes.
@happypat the original plan was to work our way up during the day in which case we would have veered off for a cup of tea with you but now we can't set off till about 6.30 so it will be a late arrival. And on Saturday we have to dash back for a karate thing - I'm sulking about that tbh!
@happypat well I've got a plan to do a bit of a road trip with Rachel in the summer if my relatives are around and Rachel has a spare couple of days. We can stay at Nigel's dad's and get around a bit from there - trouble is two big ifs!
@judithg well you know where I am ...well almost , let me know if it comes off. Hoping to meet up with @sparkle during the next couple of months when she is working in the area. Still hoping to come down to my sisters so would love to have a mini meet up with any of the ones who live in your area. Hoping to go on the meet up in London but due to have my gall bladder out in the next few weeks so will have to see.
