Some of you may remember the nest of cygnets I photographed a few times in the summer. http://365project.org/judithg/365/2014-05-20 One of the little ones died early on but the other five have all made beautiful birds. It was blowing a gale by the river so we turned round when we reached the trees that haven't been pruned back - they do have a tendency to blow over. I decided to bus in to town instead of cycle and Adam is very handy on that front - not only does he have a MegaRider (transferable to me) but he also has an App that tells him when the next bus is due.
We found that was available in Ireland too! Nobody uses the bus here in Oamaru - seems to be only a car or a taxi. Not enough people, I suppose. Very elegant swannio!
A proper student then! It amazes me how these young ones flit about all over the place on public transport....I haven't been on a bus in years. Lydia pops on the train to York from anywhere & thinks nothing of it!
